Another exclusive feature available to users of THM Racecards is our Visualiser. To access this feature, click on the "Visualiser" button above the horse name column on all racecards. And the best part is that it's available on our FREE membership tier. So, what does it offer?
When entering the visualiser, you will notice there are 3 charts to choose from: Jockey 14-Day Win%, Trainer 14-Day Win% and the Horse Handicap Movement.
.
Jockey and Trainer 14-Day Win%
.
These charts allow you to view a rolling 14 day average win% for every jockey/trainer in the race. Each point plotted on the chart represents an average of the previous 14 days, so it is really useful for spotting trends and identifying jockeys or trainers who are in or out of form. A steep trajectory to the far right of the chart would indicate a hot string of form, as seen below in the chart for jockey Paddy Bradley. Similarly, a steep downwards trajectory would indicate a jockey or trainer who has recently been struggling for winners. Identifying trainers and jockeys who are in form is incredibly important and must always be considered when making selections. Don't forget you can also view detailed jockey/trainer form metrics on the jockey/trainer tabs, located on the tab scroller on all THM racecards.

Horse Handicap Movement
.
THM's Handicap Visualiser elegantly displays all that's beautiful about a horse's handicap history, covering 2 main components:
- Dashed Line: This flat line indicates the current Official Rating of the horse.
- Green Line: This displays all previous handicap history for each race and the finishing position achieved in that race. You'll need to hover over each point to view the finishing position.
The above example displays the Handicap History of Barenboim. The green line shows us this horse was progressive from the end of 2022 and into early 2023, before dropping throughout the remainder of 2023 and then remaining static throughout 2024. The grey dashed line indicates its official rating is below the peak of the green handicap line, meaning the horse has raced off a higher handicap mark in the past. The key question to ask when analysing these charts is what will happen next. Could they bounce back to their former best? Or are they on a downward spiral? It's a great indicator of how a horse has performed over time!
