It's the final day of the jumps season and it's signing off in style with a power-packed card at Sandown. We've got the conclusion of both the jockeys’ and trainers' championships, a mouth-watering showdown featuring El Fabiolo v Jonbon, and a whole host of the Willie Mullins battalion coming over the Irish sea hoping to put the British boys in their place! Let's dive in.

.

Cobden vs Bowen

Harry Cobden has all but claimed the jockeys’ championship with Sean Bowen falling valiantly on his sword in 2nd place, but it's still worth keeping a close eye on their rides for the day as they'll no doubt have been lined up and fancied for this!

So, what does THM say? Well, we can barely put a hair’s breadth between them. Cobden and Bowen have exactly the same Win% at Sandown in recent years, both at 18%, though Bowen slightly edges the Place% figure with 40% compared to Cobden’s 38%. Both jockeys have some juicy priced runners so there's got to be some each way angles for sure.

El Fabiolo vs Jonbon

The clash we've been waiting for all season! These two heavyweights go head to head in the Bet365 Celebration Chase at 3pm in a sizzling Sandown showdown - it's a definite must watch. Jonbon has the advantage of Course experience; THM shows he's 3 from 3 at Sandown whereas El Fabiolo has never run at the track. Our average speed analysis shows El Fabiolo posting slightly faster speeds than Jonbon (when he gets round of course, so let’s hope there's no repeat of Cheltenham). It's 1-1 on the scoreboard between the two of them. May the best monster win!

Best of luck!
