Tomorrow's racing brings us the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter — a Grade 2 handicap chase run over 2 miles, 1 and a half furlongs.

Topping our THM Score from their last outings is Kalif Du Berlais, who posted 794 when winning impressively at Aintree in April.

However, JPR One has previously recorded scores in the 800s, including a personal best of 832 when winning this very race last year. He’ll be conceding 3lbs to Kalif Du Berlais in tomorrow's contest.

Saint Segal has also produced solid recent figures, returning 766 and 778 on his last two starts.

Importantly, JPR One is the only runner in the field with prior experience at Exeter — he’s two from two at the track, including last year’s Haldon Gold Cup victory.

At this trip, Kalif Du Berlais is the standout — having won six of his eight starts over comparable distances, he looks a major contender to extend that record.

Ground conditions are expected to be good, which should suit all runners. Paul Nicholls has noted, however, that his team will inspect the ground on arrival to ensure safety for Kalif Du Berlais, despite him being three from four on similar going.
